Mobile Messaging Privacy and SMS Communications

CDL PowerSuite Account and Support SMS Program

CDL PowerSuite LLC operates an optional SMS messaging program for users who opt in during account enrollment. This program provides non-promotional account notifications and customer support communications, including account alerts, security notices, training schedule reminders, and service-related updates. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program.

Users may consent to receive these messages by affirmatively selecting the SMS consent checkbox during account enrollment. Providing a mobile phone number or accepting our general Terms and Conditions does not, by itself, constitute consent to receive SMS communications through this program. Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase.

Messaging Through CDL PowerSuite Customers

CDL PowerSuite also provides SMS messaging functionality that allows training providers, employers, and other authorized organizations to communicate with their students, employees, drivers, leads, and other recipients.

Organizations using our messaging functionality generally determine the recipients, content, and purposes of their messages and are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any required recipient consent, identifying themselves as the sender, honoring opt-out requests, and complying with applicable messaging laws and regulations.

CDL PowerSuite processes messaging information on behalf of these organizations as necessary to provide the Service, subject to applicable agreements and legal requirements.

SMS Information We Collect and Use

In connection with SMS messaging, we may collect and process:

We may use third-party messaging service providers to facilitate SMS delivery and related technical services. These providers process information as necessary to perform services on our behalf, subject to applicable contractual and privacy requirements.

Mobile Information Sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

SMS Opt-Out and Support

Recipients may opt out of an applicable SMS messaging program by replying STOP to a text message. For assistance, recipients may reply HELP or contact the organization that sent the message.

For communications sent directly by CDL PowerSuite LLC, recipients may also contact info@cdlpowersuite.com or 1-509-931-1112.

Opting out of one organization's messaging program does not necessarily unsubscribe a recipient from unrelated messaging programs operated by other organizations.

Message frequency varies depending on the applicable messaging program. Message and data rates may apply.

We retain SMS-related information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, fulfill contractual obligations, and comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, as further described in the Data Retention section of this Privacy Policy.
